On Monday, 30th of June 2025, Food Bank Network Nigeria continued its mission in addressing food insecurity by collaborating with 7 non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to distribute essential food items to vulnerable households across Nigeria. The initiative reflects a joint effort in alleviating issues of food insecurity faced by many especially in this period of economic challenge.

This collaboration highlights the importance of collective action in combating hunger and supporting vulnerable households in need. By providing support, these organizations are able to reach a wider network of vulnerable households, ensuring that essential food items are distributed.

At the start of the program, a representative of each NGO introduced their programs and shared the stories of their impacts across low-income communities.

Maume Agbaosi, the program officer of Food Bank Network Nigeria, in her remark applauded the work of the NGOs in their commitment towards the shared goal of eradicating hunger in Nigeria.

She also gave a brief insight on the importance of collaboration and networking, and encouraged NGOs present to get to know each other.

The day concluded with heartwarming messages from each NGO, all expressing how the support from the Food Bank Network Nigeria had been essential in sustaining their efforts and programs.
