Valentine’s season of love is a time to appreciate those that make our lives special. It is also a time to extend such gratitude to those in need, to uplift their spirits and bring hope to those who need it most.
On this note, Sophia Momodu will partner with Lagos Food Bank Initiative on February 13th 2025, through the Temporary Food Assistance Program (TEFAP), to support vulnerable families in underserved communities grappling with food insecurity with staple foods and personal care items to foster resilience and equitable access to nutrition for general well-being. This outreach marks the Valentine’s season of love, because love is best expressed through giving.
GOAL:
The outreach is a heartfelt initiative to share love and kindness this Valentine’s season by providing nutritious food to families facing food insecurity, ensuring they can experience the warmth and joy of the season.
OBJECTIVES:
To offer support to families in need, helping them feel cared for and included during the holiday season.
To promote giving as a way to uplift others and strengthen the community in addressing food insecurity.
To improve and maintain the well being of food insecure households through nourishment.
