Philanthropy, often perceived as an act of benevolence, is an initiative of an individual to expend personal resources to address the needs of others without expecting anything in return. As a frontline agency committed to ending malnutrition and food insecurity in low-cost communities, Lagos Food Bank Initiative will partner with Adenike Adeleke on November 16, 2024, to support families experiencing food insecurity due to rising living costs through the TEFAP program.
GOAL:
To provide equitable access to nutrition in low-cost communities.
OBJECTIVES:
To nourish food insecure households with staple foods.
To foster healthy living through nourishment.
To reduce the burden of high living costs on the limited resources of households living below the poverty line.
