On Friday 16th December, 2022 the Lagos Food Bank will be supporting 19 credible NGOs this festive season through our Food Bank Partner Network. This distribution program includes distribution of food items and essential non-food items to enable these non-profits to reach more people and effect lasting change in the issue of hunger and malnutrition within the communities they serve.
Lagos Food Bank partner with non-profits like community development NGOs, food pantries, soup kitchens, homeless shelters, after-school meal programs, and other organizations that provide emergency food assistance to people in need.
GOAL
This partnership with the other non-profits will help to reach the indigents in the local communities and ensure they have a merry celebration.
OBJECTIVES
- To extend arms of love this season through a network of partner NGOs to the vulnerable in far to reach communities this festive season.
- To mitigate the effects of hunger through partnership with credible NGOs through distribution of food items, essential non-food items and other essential supplies in continuous rotation so as to make good quality food available to as many vulnerable people as possible at a progressive rate.
- To set up a strong network of Partner NGOs on the frontlines of hunger in various communities across each state within the country.
