On Friday 24th of May 2024, Lagos Food Bank Initiative will collaborate with AIICO Insurance Plc through the Education Enhancement Intervention for Food Insecure Students (EDUFOOD) program to nourish food insecure young students in low-cost schools with nutritious meals and learning materials in celebration of children for the annual Children’s Day observation.

GOAL:
The core mission of this outreach is to celebrate children by providing nourishing meals to to enhance the nutritional health and overall wellness of young school students grappling with food insecurity.
OBJECTIVES:
- To uplift the nutritional health and well-being of school children facing food insecurity.
- To enhance school children’s cognitive growth and amplify the ability to focus and grasp lessons in the classroom.
- To boost school attendance rates and inspire higher enrollment among girls.
