On Thursday 27th October, 2022 we were pleased to have representatives of the Office of Sustainable Development Goals and Investment (OSDG&I) pay us a courtesy visit at the foodbank. We had the opportunity to discuss the impact of our work through our targeted programs to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) across the various communities we serve.
The visit activity began with a brief presentation at the food bank’s administrative building as the team discussed the impact of Lagos Food Bank Initiative’s work through the 7 targeted programs within vulnerable communities across Lagos and its environs, after which proceeded to the warehouse for a tour of the facility and outreach activities.
The Office of Sustainable Development Goals and Investment (OSDG&I) was created in a move aimed at aligning the state’s developmental project with the Global Development Agenda (SDGs). The office is to attract investments and partnerships for the execution of SDGs-related projects in the state and in all Local Government and Local Council Development Areas.
