Please note the following:

  1. The walkathon event is open to both volunteers and non-volunteers of Lagos Food Bank.
  2. T-Shirt purchase is not compulsory for friends and family but is compulsory for all volunteers/members to participate but they should be on plain colored tees (White, Green or Lemon).
  3. The walkathon & regular volunteers price N4000/N6000. Payment of the shirt should be made to our GT Bank account (0461834490) as cash payments will not be accepted. Pick up can be done on the day of the event.
  4. Donation: All attending participants will make a minimum CASH DONATION of N1000 (cost of 1 meal for a vulnerable child) to participate in the fundraising event. This is inclusive of volunteers and guests.
  5. Official Hashtag: The #hashtag for this campaign is #LFBIWalkathon, #FeedtheFuture. Please add the #hashtag to your pictures and moments. Please follow our main #hashtag (#lagosfoodbankinitiative) on Instagram.
  6. The Lagos Food Bank Initiative will be having a Canned Food Drive at the Walkathon assembly point (Tafawa Balewa Square Cricket Field), you are encouraged to take part in the campaign #TogetherWeCan by donating at least one canned food item during the walkathon
